Happy Halloween

Moo.

We dressed up ready for a walk in Autumn. Hats, coats and thick socks...only to find it was pretty warm and we really didn't need all the layers. However i refused to take my ugly hat off. 

We walked through fields, saw sheep some cows and i almost had a heart attack when we saw a bull who was stood right in the way of the gate we had to go through.

We also got to try out a polaroid camera that was given to us by a friend. In my 5 years of studying photography i never had so much fun with a camera.

I definitely think we need to go on more walks. More walks, more bike rides.









In other news, i handed my notice in at work and me and A are back living together. I just need to find a job that better suited to...i'm just not sure what that is. This does also mean that moving to the other side of the world is off. I'm not sure if that was something we both really wanted anyway. I think we just need an adventure even if it's only a week long.

Bristol

A and I both had Friday off work so we went to Bristol, we saw a good friend, some street art, ate good food, spent £20 in a sweet shop (some for christmas presents) and bought a box of Krispy Kremes!
We're missing Bristol lots. I think it's time to move back.

weekend of sun

 

I've been really rubbish at updating our blog, work has been super tiring and nothing too exciting has happened. We did have a really hot weekend which was odd/lovely. A and I spent it out in the garden mostly eating ice lollies and hanging out with our niece and nephew. 

 

 

 Last weekend i got to see Bunty which was lovely as i hadn't seen her for a month! we shopped and ate food. I bought an awful looking hat that i can't wait to wear when it gets colder! Speaking of getting colder...Christmas is on it's way and i can't wait, apart from the fact i have to work xmas eve and back in work on boxing day, i'm really not happy about that. However last night me my mum and my brothers girlfriend went to my mum's friends shop, she had an xmas evening with wine, cake and lots of Christmasy things. My mum went mad and bought half the shop, she loves Christmas a little too much.

We're not sure of the exact date but it was sometime in September 2005 that we became A&E, I was 17 and A was 20.

We met walking to a friends house, i was moaning (as usual) because i didnt want to walk up a hill. So A gave me a piggy back, i'm pretty sure we spent most of the evening talking all i remember is that i didnt want to go home. We didnt swap numbers but A then added me on Myspace ha. He claims he only made one so he could add me but i'm sure he lies. 

We didnt speak for a few weeks i think because A moved to Bristol to start uni and he wanted to be a student and live the student life. There was this club in Bristol that my friends and i used to go to (it was the only one that would let us 17 year olds in) I met A there one night, i'd told him i was going and he said me and my friends could stay at his. So we did! That night was our first kiss and i think after that we've been pretty inseparable. I used to spend every weekend at his flat then the summer after that i moved into his flat. We've lived in so many strange student places over the years, crazy landlords, crazy housemates, mice infested buildings the lot. I started uni in Bristol too so A got to live like a student for a bit longer. In my last year of uni we got our first flat together just us two and Moomin our rabbit, it was perfect...ish.

We've had so many amazing adventures together and i know the best is yet to come, we'll be getting married next August then off for the biggest adventure yet, we're hoping to move to Australia for a year if we can save up for it. If not we will travel until our money runs out.

 I am so so sooo glad we met, we just need this year to hurry up so we can live together again, seeing each other once a week is no fun at all but it will be worth it.

I've got so much more i could write about us but i think i'll stop rambling now.

To the woods!

A and I went for a little adventure in the woods. It was muddy and wet but oh so fun and i think we should do it more, maybe we could get on our bikes and find some exciting places.

I promised myself i'd make more of an effort to take pictures and this was a perfect opportunity! 

 

We need to find more free things to do, being back in Wales we find there isnt much, we can't walk into any city centres where we are and you have to get on a train to find an art gallery but there are lots of fields and wooded areas. Autumn is the best time for that too!

A is back to work tomorrow after his 11 days off! he's making music at the moment i'm hoping i get a completed song for christmas as we're making things for each other this year or buying from charity shops. We figured out we need to save over £6000 and that's just for the year in Australia! that doesn't include the wedding. We will do it! i'm determined.
